Ayurveda: Charaka and Sushruta

Ayurveda, the ancient Indian system of medicine, is built upon the foundational works of two legendary scholars—Charaka, the master of internal medicine, and Sushruta, the pioneer of surgery. Their treatises form the backbone of classical Ayurvedic knowledge and are part of the Brihat Trayi (Great Trio).
