Indo-Greek Rule in India

After the collapse of Mauryan power, Greek successors from Bactria—known as the Indo-Greeks—established Hellenistic kingdoms in northwestern India from c. 200 BCE to 10 CE. They blended Greek and Indian traditions, leaving enduring marks on administration, coinage, art, and religion.
